2014 Ukraine, Moldova and Georgia signed an association agreement with the EU, which is as a result of 2009 carried out Partnership policy with the EU. For the successful implementation of the Association Agreements commitments, Ukraine, Moldova and Georgia must focus on economic growth. Nowadays these countries are developing dynamically and are oriented to export. These countries have a strong intellectual potential, but they apply too little high technologies in various fields. Scientific and technical infrastructure is not well developed to exploit advantage of scientific, technological and innovative potential. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen these countries administrative and institutional capacity of the industry and business promotion, improvement of business environment, research commercialization, and other areas.
In order to achieve this project aim, experts from Lithuania will provide high-level expert consultations related with implementation of Association Agreements. Workshops, visits of the representatives of Georgian, Moldavian and Ukrainian executive authorities to Exchange best practices, long-term consultancy and expert support will be organized. After the implementation of the project the administrative and institutional capacities in economic policy of governmental institutions from Georgia, Republic of Moldova and Ukraine will be improved. Implementation of European integration reforms in Georgia, Republic of Moldova and Ukraine will be encouraged in economy field based on innovation, applying the best practices of Lithuania.
